Jackie and Brett from Cannon Mortuary were wonderful to work with, and I highly recommend Cannon Mortuary. Brett and Jackie were patient and kind. Both of them took their time to over of the logistics and and helped me and my family prepared a beautiful Buddhist service and cremation for my mother. They were respectful, sympathetic, culturally sensitive, and culturally aware and open minded. The embalming and make up was phenomenal, so my mom looked beautiful and peaceful. Her disease, called, PSP caused facial changes and spinal extension, but through embalming she looked like herself and it looked like she was resting peaceful. Cannon Mortuary provided us with a beautiful space to honor and say our last goodbye to our mother. We are so grateful for everything they have done. Jackie and Brett made us felt like we were talking to family. They were always available and responsive through text or a call. They were very flexible. When my mom passed they were available immediately to start the whole process. Additionally they do not up sale, the price was exceptional for the services they offered. They also connected us with an after care expert free of cost to go over the necessary closing of accounts and what to do after death. This was very helpful. Cannon did my mother-in-law's funeral this past week. They were amazing and made everything so simple for us and beautiful for our mom. They also did my father's a few years ago and I would highly recommend them!!

After visiting one of the other local funeral homes in Salt Lake and having somewhat of a negative experience, I asked my sister if she wanted to look into Cannon Mortuary. She readily agreed and we visited with Jackie Cannon. Our experience was like night and day. We loved working with Jackie and Don Cannon. It seemed like we were working with Family. Taking care of our Mom was their top priority and we were treated with dignity and respect. There was no hard sell or trying to up sell us with something not needed. We saved money without compromising service. I would recommend Cannon Mortuary again and again... Thank you Jackie and Don for a memorable experience with our Dear Mom and Family.
