No one ever explained to us in life has to plan for the death of a child. Ivy held our hand through this whole process and made everything so perfect for us. She was very professional yet so caring and understanding. She went above and beyond for our family.

I came down from Idaho April 14th once my Papa was placed on hospice to fulfill my promise to him that I made many years ago. I promised him that I would let him pass peacefully in his home and he did just that Memorial day morning with me and my Mom(his daughter) by his side. We had the pleasure of working with Shawn Conners after my Papa’s passing. He was extremely attentive, caring, and able to deal with my bluntness. I asked if I could shave my Papa one last time and do his hair, he went above and beyond letting me help him get my Papa completely ready for his viewing, he even let me help place him in his coffin. He understood how protective I was and how I wanted everything to be perfect. He never once made us feel like we were burdens when we wanted something changed. I asked if my Papa’s son could brand his casket with the brand that my Papa bought from his father when he passed and he was all for it. I could go on and on about our experience and how great Shawn was during this difficult time. Be sure to ask Shawn to be your director if you loose a loved one.
