I placed my Wife, Amanda in the care of Autumn after being her caregiver for two years while we walked through terminal cancer. Letting go of this honor and responsibility is not easy and comes with a great amount of trust. I built a relationship with the funeral director, Autumn over a period of time. I was also introduced to the owner, Chris. Autumn is an incredibly attentive person that treated my family and me with a great amount of respect, kindness, and empathy. She continually anticipated what we needed and explained fully to me the care and respect that would be shown to Amanda throughout the process. It would be an understatement for me to say that I am a customer with high expectations and in this case I demanded excellence for my Wife. Autumn and the entire team at Brackett exceeded my expectations and I am grateful for the way not only was I treated, but Amanda and my entire family was shown a great level of respect. Thank you Brackett for making this extremely difficult time less painful and stressful. We are grateful and I highly recommend that if you are reviewing this funeral home that you take the time to build a relationship with Autumn she is highly skilled at her job and her attention to detail is impeccable.

During a difficult time, Funeral Director Autumn made us feel at ease and answered all our questions/concerns. Even though it was Easter Sunday, she moved into action to get my loved one from the hospital to the funeral home. So kind and considerate to me throughout the process. Unorganized, unprofessional, aloof. Had a service there and came in the day before for questions on the service, the young lady helping us was great - answered all our questions. We asked when the family should show up for the service and she said an hour before the service. So far, 5 stars with her (Caroline I think was her name). Came the next day an hour early and the door is locked. One of the funeral attendants came up and walked right passed everyone and went into another door. He was in regular clothes. He changed and then opened the door. Meanwhile it’s 25 degrees out. Went inside and nothing is set up, the flowers that were delivered the day before were not even out. The place was 63 degrees inside. This guy and a woman with short hair were scurrying to get the place set up. A song was requested to be played before the service and about 5 minutes before the service she had asked what version we wanted played. Then some opera version was played. Even during the service we could hear soda cans being opened in the office down the hall. They couldn’t even close the door. Just not a good experience. The place was so unorganized and ran horribly on the day of the service. I blame the two working the event (the guy with sideburns and the short haired lady). All of this should have been set up and ready to go. It was really cringe and upsetting that a place that’s sole purpose is to hold a memorial for a deceased loved one had the customer service level of a fast food restaurant. Also, they want to charge $375 for zoom access to the service. Quite steep for a service that’s relatively cheap to have.
