I am sincerely disappointed with this horrible experience. No one would want to remember their loved ones this way. They fought with my sister about doing my moms makeup for the viewing. Then they said they would do it for free. It was awful. You could tell there were spots with no makeup at all leaving discoloration throughout my lovely mothers face. The lady who met with our family at this funeral home was dressed in street clothes and hurried us. She continuously asked us if we were ready while we were still gathering. (No more than 5 minutes). When my dad said the prayer for our family a man that walked through was talking rather loudly on his phone. The lady did nothing about this and just let the man continue talking loudly on his phone. My mother was a very beautiful and loving person. Instead of being treated as such, she was treated as an object, like all they cared about was seeing how fast they could do their job. I would never recommend this funeral home to anyone. No one should have this experience as the last time to see their loved ones.

Bruce will be a person in my life that I will always be thankful for. Without him it would have been impossible to get through the loss of my grandmother. every time I had an issue or question I called and not once was I made to feel like a bother. In a multi billion dollar industry it is rare to find someone like Bruce who genuinely cares for everyone he comes in contact with. Bruce & Bollmans funeral home have extensive familiarity of the surrounding Native American tribes and take their roll in a traditional ceremonial burial very seriously. They are hands on when needed and also understand when to “back off” (for lack of a better term). Working with The Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde frequently, they know the budget allotted to tribal members for burial. I expected this to be taken advantage of and to be maxed out. However, we came in under budget and Bruce is now in the process of helping me get my grandma a headstone made. That’s the kind of people you will be working with in the event of tragedy. Those are the people you want on your team. Bruce helped our family in ways that can’t even be repaid- as our elders get older he will be the only director I anticipate working with. I hope this helps the next family who has to bury their loved one.

They allowed us to make payments on my Dad's funeral so we could lay him to rest how he deserved. We will always go through them when needed.
