I am happy to write a review of Farnstrom Mortuary. No one wants to have to face the details involved in the death of a loved one. It is a tragic, emotional time and decisions are often difficult to make. Andrew Phillips, the funeral director, made my decisions not only much easier, but also very comfortable. He is professional, kind, compassionate and very intuitive for his years. I lost my father and brother within seven months of each other, and Andrew's help during this very sad time made all the difference for me. He listened to what I wished for their services and final resting and did not try to "sell" me anything or change my mind in any way. From beginning to end my experience with Farnstrom was positive and very comforting.

I am forever grateful that Farnstrom Mortuary was quickly able to move my loved one out of the hospital to a safe location under difficult circumstances as a major ice storm was pending within hours. They are an experienced, compassionate, full-service provider who will do as much or as little as you require.

My experience at Farnstroms Mortuary in Independence, OR was excellent. I have had an ongoing relationship with Mr. Phillips as I had to be prepared for end of life concerns for my terminally ill husband. He was always professional and helpful and willing to handle things if I had to be out of the country. He is reliable and trustworthy and honest which makes him a valued asset to this business. He is friendly and punctual and it is always a joy to see him even though many times it is in difficult circumstances. Every detail of the funeral plan was implemented properly and he would keep in touch in between times if necessary. We are fortunate to have him in this community.)
