I highly recommend Bay Area Mortuary Services, i booked an appointment the same day after my dogs passing and was met with so much compassion and grace. I was taken to a room just for deceased pets, with candles and very serene. i was able to place her in an alter of sorts and the woman that attended asked me her name and placed a beautiful rose on her. She was very compassionate and did not try to up sell me. she explained the process to me throughly and helped me choose the urn. afterwards she gave me and my accompanying family members some time to light some candles and say goodbye to our little furry friend. i can honestly say that it brought me so much comfort and peace knowing she was being well taken care and treated with respect. I also received her ashes a few days before the estimate. I can definitely say that I will be recommending Bay area mortuary services should I ever know someone in need of their services. thanks again!

THANK YOU to Bay Area Mortuary Services. We lost our beloved cat to cancer this past Monday. From diagnosis to the day he passed on, it was about three days and my husband and I were reeling. It is so common that you often just feel like a credit card to people as they try and upsell you or upcharge you while you are working your way through your grief. So not only have you lost a loved one, you feel as though you've been taken advantage of at your lowest points. Bay Area Mortuary Services were not those people. Bay Area Mortuary Services was wonderful. Throughout this whole process, the one wish that we had, was that we could honor our kitty in death in a way that was befitting of how much we loved him during his life. They did this for us. Burying him in the backyard of a home we didn't own was a no go. Taking him to a vet where we could not be sure that we would actually be getting him back was an absolute no. We wanted to be sure that he would be treated with the same loving care that we gave to him during his life. He was family and deserved to be treated as such. Bay Area Mortuary Services understood this through and through. They had a special place set up for our final goodbyes, they explained to us the process fully before we turned him over, and they were loving and gentle with two sobbing individuals who had just lost a member of the family. I never felt the "cash grab" that is sometimes common...just love and empathy. It meant the world to my husband and I. More than I can ever express. There are so few pet cremation/aquamation services at all and I hope Bay Area Mortuary Services will continue this valuable service to pet owners like us who just simply want to send our buddies off with love. We cannot thank your place enough for the care you have shown. It was so deeply appreciated and made an awful time just a little better. I highly recommend for those looking for services such as these. We never want them, but when the time comes, having someone like Bay Area Mortuary Services around makes the process that much easier.

We lost our chihuahua Pinky after 14 years of loving her. When she passed away my family and I were so very sad. We were also uncertain on what to do next. We contacted Bay Area Mortuary and not only was the process explained to us but Casey (hope I spelled that right) went above and beyond to help us get through the cremation process and gave Pinky a beautiful send off at one hell of an affordable price! We are grateful for this service and we had peace and a great feeling of closure.
