I just came from my Aunt Stella's funeral and witnessed the funeral director treating several elders disrespectfully. He rudely told a sister to sit down when she wanted to see her sister one last time. At the burial, he refused to let anyone take a flower, even denying a sister who was a minister and had performed the eulogy. Then, when the daughter asked for the cross from the flowers, he snatched it away. It's shocking how he lacks common courtesy, especially considering his profession where dealing with people's loved ones is essential. It's important to remember that there are other funeral homes available. As the Bible says, "Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels" (Hebrews 13:2 NKJV).

This funeral home is the worst I have ever been to. The director argued with and got up in the face of a woman who was attending her only son’s funeral. She just wanted to touch her son in his casket. And instead of compassion for this grieving mother the director got in there face yelling at them to stop. Disappointed and discussed with the actions of this place. I am posting this video everywhere.

Ames funeral home is one of the best funeral homes in Manassas,with excellent service the staff was very friendly they treated us like we were family ,and handled my Mom with care.
