We recently had the bittersweet task of arranging a funeral service, and while our overall experience with Allen Dave Funeral Services earns 4 stars, I must give a special shout-out to Telicia Callier, whose efforts on the dove release deserve 10 stars, not just 5. Telicia was the first to respond to us when we were looking into dove releases, and her compassion and professionalism truly stood out. She was not only knowledgeable about the symbolic meaning behind the release but also ensured everything was perfectly set up despite the bad weather. Her patience and understanding were evident as she waited respectfully for our service to conclude before starting the release, which beautifully exceeded our expectations. Unfortunately, our experience with the overall funeral services was less personal. The owner treated our family more like a business transaction than grieving individuals, which led us to choose another provider, Wesley A. Boyd, for the main funeral services. However, the exceptional service provided by Telicia during the dove release partially redeemed our experience with Allen Dave. Telicia was also incredibly attentive and honest, promptly issuing a refund when she noticed a double charge. Her presence and empathy made a significant difference during a time of immense sadness. She truly understands compassion, unlike the owner, who could benefit from a refresher course in empathy and customer care. For those considering a dove release service, I highly recommend Telicia at Allen Dave. Her dedication and the memorable setup she provided were the perfect tribute to a life well-lived.
