My husband and I lost our son this past summer, and the director, Dan, handled us with such grace and compassion throughout such a devastating and overwhelming time. He was so flexible, patient and caring towards us in the midst of living every parent's worse nightmare. We knew our son was in good hands with him and his team. I reached out to Acton Funeral home when referred by my dad. He knew Kathy since high school and our family has been using Acton Funeral home for generations. To my surprise, I learned Kathy had sold the business to her cousin, Dan. Dan was absolutely supportive. Although other family members have had to arrange services, I had not. And this was very unfortunately for my baby. Dan made sure I understood my options (cremation, burial) and timeline and what he needed from me. But ultimately, he handled everything so that I didn’t have to during an already difficult time. Words cannot express my appreciation for how he handled everything not only professionally but also compassionately.
