Gary Deiter Funeral Home has provided our family with the utmost care and respect during our time of grief and loss of our mother. Every communication with Mr. Deiter and his administrative assistant Kelli was courteous and compassionate. Options were clearly explained and costs outlined I. An easy to understand format. I struggled to remember details that I wanted included but each request was met with understanding and patience and was accommodated. I forgot to ask for a piano keyboard to be available for the service and all I had to do was ask, and it was put in place within about 2 minutes. The way the photos were edited and put together for a video slide show was quite amazing, given the wide range of age and quality of photos, and by the multiple sources- photos to scan, photos by email, and airdrop were edited and cropped for clarity and quality. Our sentimental items which included my moms Cardinal collection, skating metals from her national championship days, and family photos were beautifully displayed then boxed up with care for easy pick up. My mom’s appearance was beautifully done keeping her natural and she looked so peaceful. Her hospital bruises, which were extensive, were tastefully diminished which I’m sure was challenging, but well done. Working with these incredibly compassionate and professional people helped us cope during one of the most difficult times for our family, just like they did 10 years ago when we lost our dad. Kelli and Gary were exceptional to work with. They were extremely patient and understanding as my wife and I were very unsure how to proceed. We had to cancel once due to weather, but everything still went smoothly on the newly appointed date. They put together a video for the viewing and it was very well done and a beautiful way to help celebrate our daughter's life.

Gary and Madison helped us to create a FANTASTIC send-off for my Dad, Gary McCormick, when he passed in December 2018. Gary is extremely creative and easy to work with and helped us to place one of my Dad's street rods (his passion) in the funeral home itself. They have a beautiful selection of caskets and vaults and were instrumental in helping us keep all the details together during a crazy, heartbreaking time when we needed all the help we could get.
