The staff at DeGusipe Funeral Home was very compassionate and easy to work with. Most of our family lives out of town, and we were able to make arrangements with Amy over zoom. Their cosmetician gave us the gift of seeing our mom's face in a gentle and peaceful way. The room where her service was held was pleasant and light, not heavy and gaudy like some services I've been to. We appreciate the way DeGusipe took care of everything so that we could gather as a family and concentrate on honoring the life of our mom.

We were in an urgent situation, with our brother on hospice and we were in from out of town, in St. Pete, to help him. We were needing funeral home services and our brother's pastor from Faith Fellowship of St. Pete, had recommended DeGusipe FH, as he and a parishioner had a recent positive experience with them. We were pleasantly surprised at how wonderful DeGusipe was with us. Funeral Home Director, Amy Norris, was pleasant, respectful, and professional. She spent time with us explaining everything and was very patient, as we were obviously overwhelmed. We had communicated that our brother's request was to have his ashes buried at sea, off of the coast of his beloved Treasure Island, and Todd DeGusipe and Amy Norris were more than helpful, in accommodating that request. They made a very difficult and painful process easier to bear and Amy was with us every step of the way. We are forever grateful to DeGusipe Funeral Home and highly recommend their services.

The funeral home is modern with updated lobby and viewing area/memorial service area. The reception area is also spacious and well- lit. The highlight why we chose this funeral home after visiting 6 others, is the personal touch that the staff offered to our family. From planning, to our specifics, dates, etc - Amy was very accommodating. When it came to making our cards, and a link to obituary and service, Capry worked with our designs. Her efficiency made the cards and obituary done in 2 hours. Kohl is a special mention also because of his kindness to us; it was notable from the moment he picked up our loved one to the burial. During the service, he and Capry endlessly offered their assistance from song playlists to more vases, etc. ( and we were very specific people about the funeral). George was very effective in giving instructions to pallbearers making sure the procession to the cemetery was smooth. His kindness was again palpable. I wouldn't wish any more loved ones departing. But I would certainly recommend their service. It made a very pleasant and commendable experience for my family. Not forgetting to mention about the cost of everything at their service being very reasonable. Thank you once more.
