Please RUN from this place as fast as you can. Staff is completely unprofessional and not empathetic. You would think empathy is part of the job? After dropping THOUSANDS of dollars, my family was treated like dirt under this facility’s shoe. First, some guy went up to my parents while they were crying in front of my sister’s casket to ask them to sign some form. Really? Was that the right time to do that? Also my father asked specifically for my sister to be cremated with many belongings of hers. The facility promised to do that. When we went to pick her up? SOME of her belongings were given to us in a bag. Some of them were cremated with her. They were picking and choosing what they think she should have been cremated with and they don’t even know her? And when we asked? Again, they gave an attitude and said “well we can put it in the urn now if you’d like.” Like….?!? On top of this, some lady works there with a nose ring. She was completely rude about picking up the flowers we were given DESPITE promising they would take care of it because we wanted to send them off to be made into bracelets/rings/etc. Then to give my family an attitude while we mourn the loss of our sister/daughter? The night of the service I was the last person in the room with my sister, and I asked if anyone would go in there and get her so she wasn’t alone and she GIGGLED and said obviously someone would. I have never seen anything like it before. She should be fired. Genuinely, run. This is not the place to send your loved ones if you want to be taken care of and if you want your loved ones taken care of.

My family and I unfortunately had to plan a funeral in early January, 2024. It was sudden and unexpected. We were a mess. Mike Williams helped us through the process with an unparalleled and exceptional level of professionalism and empathy and kindness. Truly, this man has found his calling. It is so important for the person helping you through planning final services for a loved one to be nice, and I didn’t understand how much so until I was forced to be aware of it. I am so grateful that this funeral home and Mike Williams was the person there with us, and he made such a terrible time easy and clear. We knew exactly what to expect and when, understood costs, he only gave advice when we clearly needed guidance or was asked. There were so many details that mattered: people could choose to plant a tree in honor of our passed loved one, flowers sent for the service were later broken up and delivered to local nursing homes, transitions were handled by Mike perfectly… I cannot imagine a better place of business for such hard life moments, and cannot recommend them, and Mike Williams, enough.

We recently had a family member's cremation and visitation done with WK. All of the staff (Dan and Arthur, and other folks I spoke to on the phone) were super helpful, accommodating, and compassionate. I had to do a lot of the planning from out of state and they were thorough in answering my questions. On the day of, they were a great support with all the logistical things. I highly recommend Williams Kampp. Quick tip- if you have young children you need to occupy during visitation, go to the Wheaton library (3 min drive)
