Do not use this funeral home they are so unprofessional and are shady business, first they cremated my brother body before we had a viewing of him just did it with no family approval, and tried to charge us a viewing fee. Second they tried to keep money from the state that was supposed to be issued to the cemetery for there services over $2000. Third when you ask to talk to management or owner they act like they don’t speak English all of a sudden. Even some of there staff from accounting departments said that what they have done was wrong and shady . They prey on grieving people and try to add charges to your bill if you don’t pay attention. This was the worst experience to have to go through after losing a loved one. If they feel like they can’t play you out of money they don’t want to help you at all giving you the run around for everything. They don’t even deserve one star but you can’t put zero.

Horrible experience, we had initial contact with the LA office but the services were needed in Oakland. There was complete chaos from the bottom to the top and constant miscommunication within them. We had to wait over a month and a half to have a wake for our loved one and once we saw him he didn’t even look like himself and was obviously starting to decompose. Just a very distressing experience, please just save yourself the heartache and stress and don’t come here.

The actual in person service was absolutely top notch. They were compassionate, helpful, present, and in generally just very helpful on a very difficult day. The only thing keeping them from 5 stars is that they were difficult to get a hold of on the phone, which can be frustrating. That is the only complaint I had with them, the actual service was performed wonderfully and they handled the coordination with the transportation and floral companies very well.
