I unfortunately lost my Mom and Dad within 9 months from each other. I could not have done the funeral planning without the compassionate and caring Melissa and her staff. They truly made the process less difficult.

Having been here for services of friends I found the personal to be caring and very professional, having an older brother in a rest home I made prearranged services for him, I spoke to Melissa she was was very caring and helpful. When the time came for their services Melissa and her staff helped me and were very compassionate and caring , they showed attention to details, helped to personalize the service. they took great care with the appearance of my brother, they set up an picture album and video for the viewing. The home was nicely decorated and well maintained , very clean and comfortable. I think because I had made some prior arrangements when the time came I was more at ease and the staff was very comforting. I will shortly be planning my own arrangements at Whitham's also to make it a little easier on my daughters. I wish when my beloved wife passed away I had the presence of mine to use them. the one we used was a total fiasco everything that could go wrong did, I could not even get a proper receipt for the services. I know its hard its something you don't want to think about , as with my wife it was so much harder even when we knew her time was nearing

I Found Whitham-Kanapaux Funeral Home to be very caring, thoughtful, and kind. Kanapaux pays very close attention to details and I would highly recommend their services.
