I want to express my complete satisfaction with this funeral home . We had an unexpected death in our family and I called a few funeral homes in the Dover area to take care of everything for a cremation . We called a few other funeral homes including Smith Taylor funeral Home , we were quoted a few prices over the phone which we a bit cheaper then this funeral home so of course we went with the cheaper options. When we went in person to the other ones they were anywhere from 1000-1809 difference in pricing . Believe me when I called around I was very specific in what I needed from the start to finish and asked for cost in detail. I made sure to include every service needs and asked for specific upfront cost. In which I was told pricing with everything needed included in that pricing . So you can imagine my surprise with all the addition fees added from death certificates to the hearse to gratuities etc . I was at smith Taylor’s specifically I was quoted 2700 on the phone and it went up to 3900 when I went through itemization with added charges as previously listed . I was about to just pay because I wasn’t in the best head space and didn’t feel like dealing with going to any more places . I called Steve and I told him everything I was experiencing and he told me no whatever I quote you is all included no additional charges or fees. Which I appreciated a lot . This is a devastated time and to have such a pleasant upfront genuinely experience as Steve gave us was so appreciated and heartfelt . We really appreciate the transparency and upfront nature of Steve . When we arrived to pick up our ashes everything was done and quick . We spoke a bit with Steve his father was a priest and I think that’s why he is so genuine and honest . He truly is a good guy with good morals and standards . He told us that he always treats people how he wants to be treated and during time and pain he doesn’t want to hurt people or make things harder . He’s fair and a truly good man and soul . His bless your steve thank you for your honesty .

If I could give this more than 5 stars I would. Brian was so compassionate and did a wonderful job. He did a miracle to make my husband look like my husband again. I will be forever grateful. I highly recommend this Funeral Home.

We went to a a funeral on Saturday. No one was there from Bermingham. The wrong grave was dug. The honor guard never showed. Absolutely disgraceful. Never use this funeral home.
