Thank you so much for helping my family during the time of my dads passing. Mike Cecere helped my family make the arrangements fast (my mother wanted the wake & funeral the same week), it was open casket and my dad looked very much at peace and they did a really wonderful job on that. They provided different pricing options and helped walk my mom through one of the most difficult times of her life. Thank you Mike & thank you so much for everything. My mom couldn’t stop saying how good my father looked. Also thank you for adding sleeves to the shirt he was buried in due to his bruising - we didn’t even think of that. The funeral home didn’t mind the amount of people in and out, did a beautiful job with flowers people sent, and it was a large room. My dad wanted exactly what they provided and I will be forever thankful to the Cecere family!!! Lastly - thank you for creating the Legacy page. I only realized today I forgot to and you were ten steps ahead!

Our family wanted to ensure that we selected a funeral home that was modern, clean, professional, empathetic and Covid-19 complaint for our beloved mother's wake. Weigand's hit the mark for all of these and more. From our initial meeting, Chris made our family feel warm and welcomed. Weigand's was recently renovated, so their rooms are pristine, spacious, and immaculately appointed. There is even a basement lounge of leather couches complete with a media center and TV, which helped our nannies keep the children contained. Thankfully, there was only one family allowed in the venue at once, so we felt completely safe and kept our numbers low, in order to maintain recommended social distancing protocols. Weigand's offered an online streaming service, which was an added plus. So our loved ones were able to attend the viewing service and memorial remarks virtually and safely. The following day, Chris helped to keep us on schedule and organized the transportation for our family to the funeral services at the Cathedral of the Incarnation and the burial at Nassau Knolls. Their fleet of 6 passenger limousines were both modern and clean. Although the weather was nothing short of a monsoon, the entire staff was incredibly patient, attentive, helpful and compassionate from start to finish. Dad passed away Saturday about 6pm. Called the Weigand Bros. phone number about 7pm and left a message. Received a call back in 10 minutes from Chris, the director. 10 minutes on a Saturday night!!! That speaks volume about this firm's commitment to their clients. Met with Chris Sunday morning. He was a sincere, regular guy who clearly laid options and pricing. "No surprises," he said. True to his words, there were none later on. He also went above and beyond, pointing out my dad's eligibility for a US Navy honor guard at the gravesite as dad was on the Intrepid in the 50's. That was a powerful touch that we didn't even know about. That was all Chris' doing and was indeed awesome. He also tracked down a extra large-size limo for our family. I can go on but, suffice it to say, if you are unfortunately in need of funeral services, Chris and his team at Weigand Bros. are outstanding and I could not at all more highly recommend them.
