I am a tenant of the building next door. This morning I was leaving to support a medical procedure. Due to the proximity of the funeral home I had gotten caught in the line of cars. I was greeted by an older gentleman with a limp who asked me why I was in such a rush. I said I am in the way to surgery. He said “I bet” then followed up with “don’t kill anyone”. After leaving his next statement was “I have a freezer downstairs for you” Not only not acceptable. Border line threatening. Hoping this message reaches management.

Last month, my family and I had the unfortunate task of arranging a funeral. During such a challenging and emotional time, Cassidy Funeral Home provided us with the utmost care and compassion. From the moment I contacted Mr. Cassidy, I knew our family was in good hands. He was compassionate, honest, and incredibly responsive. He went above and beyond to help my family during a terribly difficult time. Every staff member we encountered was empathetic, patient, and incredibly helpful. He is a good person to his core and exactly the type of person you hope to encounter when you're mourning. Mr. Cassidy and Robert guided us through every step of the process with kindness and professionalism. Considering the high level of service and the quality of the arrangements, the prices were very fair and reasonable. There were no unexpected costs, and everything was clearly explained upfront. Unfortunately, most funeral homes are corporate-run today, so you won't find this type of service elsewhere. Before contacting Cassidy, we spoke with three other facilities. They were cold and attempted to charge us more than what was required. In a time of grief and stress, Cassidy Funeral Home provided a sense of ease and peace. They handled everything with dignity and respect, allowing us to focus on celebrating the life of our loved one. I am sincerely grateful for their support and highly recommend their services to others facing the loss of a loved one.

Bill and Sue are the best. My sister and I had lost both of our parents and was dealing with this funeral parlor in Queens who were beyond horrible. I decided to call Cassidy Funeral Home to see if I could transfer my parents to their establishment. This was the best decision I made. They were compassionate, polite, and very professional. I explained to Sue my issues and pleased with the results. My sister met with Bill the following day and Bill was able to pick up my parents bodies and too good care of them. They deserve 10 Stars.
