Had both my parents here (about 6 years apart). They handled everything nicely. Made things so much easier. Accommodated everything we wanted. Only problem was with my mom. The funeral home lady had a difficult time lifting my mom’s casket into the funeral limo. Then she laughed a little about it. If she couldn’t lift it she should have let one of the men standing by do it.

The compassion and sympathy that wasik funeral home showed was second to none. The owners and staff were understanding and treated myself and my family as one of their own. Through the trying time that we were going through, I cannot thank the owners and staff enough for being sincere and seeing to it that our every need was met with heartfelt sympathy. My family recently chose Wasik Funeral Home for my father's funeral, and it was definitely the right choice. Mary Wasik, one of the owners, helped us make all the arrangements directly and was a pleasure. What could have been a painful and difficult process was made much easier thanks to her straightforward and compassionate approach. We were treated respectfully and any requests we had were easily accomodated. For instance, my father is Chinese and we wanted to have some incense, as is customary at Chinese funerals, and other funeral homes in the area were reluctant to allow this. The lovely folks at Wasik not only said it would be no problem, but showed an interest in our cultural traditions and gladly helped us with anything we needed. I even noticed a curio cabinet in the chapel had several Asian-themed pieces in it, which was a nice touch. Overall, we were pleased with everything Wasik did for us - my father even looked good. Saying goodbye to a loved one is definitely not easy, but Wasik Funeral Home really made the process less difficult. Thank you again to Mary and the rest of your staff for helping us through it.
