I had the pleasure of working with Roberta at the Bloomington location. She was not only most kind, but most efficient as well! She helped make this meeting an easy one at a time of enormous grief. She listened well and took note of everything I said. She also helped take care of an issue at the cemetery and it was my absolute pleasure to have her going to bat for me there! Judy, in the office, was also so very kind and went the nth degree to make sure I was satisfied with the back of the prayer card! These ladies really care and were both so kind that I very highly recommend them to anyone who wants a seamless experience with a couple people that really know their work well!! I couldn’t have been happier during my extreme grief of losing my beloved husband.

My mom and dad purchased plots from Dawn Valley from a door to door salesman in 1971. It seems that was their preferred method of shopping back then as I have the dictionaries, encyclopedias and brushes to prove it. Lol. They purchased based on location as it was near Bush Lake, which was a center point of fun activities we were doing as a family during the time. I imagine they also chose DV, because it is beautiful, tranquil, and surrounded by nature. This review is based on my mom’s funeral last week. Planning a funeral is no fun. It’s overwhelming, because of the timing and the unknowns. I can say without hesitation that my parents chose well. The staff of Dawn Valley was amazing. They made the process easy, smooth, and stress free. We feared pressure sales. Never did this happen and it was made clear throughout the process they would work with us and it would be perfect. The funeral itself was beautifully done. They chose a wonderful minister, who despite never meeting my mom made us feel like they knew each other. All in all, for a hard thing to go through they made it seamless and stress free. The perfect day for a immensely loved and missed mom. Thank you, Dawn Valley!

The staff takes the time and is fully invested in the families they work with. They make you feel like part of a family working together. Funeral preparations can be overwhelming, but Sam walked us through the process and made us feel at ease.
