When you're laying your only child to rest and saying your last goodbyes; but told that you CAN NOT hold him/hug him/ or even TOUCH HIM( other then a kiss on the forehead) , so you tell me; what would you rate yourself if our roles were reversed and that was the rules in order to tell your only kid GOODBYE....honestly, my sister in law didn't act out the way she should have when being told that due to grieving atm... Smh but when you get home make sure you hold, hug, and kiss your only baby for as long as you can- CAUSE I CANT MORE/ AND YOU Wouldn't LET HER.

In March, I was told my husband had maybe 2 weeks left to live. I went to Walker Chapel Funeral Home to make arrangements while I was still able to think clearly. My husband and I wanted to be cremated and no funeral service or visitation. My husband was also a veteran and wanted to be interred at the National Cemetery in Montevallo. Matthew Roper handled every thing for me and was such a comfort. He contacted the cemetery and arranged a small ceremony before my husband's ashes were placed in his space. He did not pressure me to make any choices or decisions - and answered every questions I had with a quiet and comforting manner. Also, after my husband arrived at the funeral home, Mr. Roper took me to him and allowed me some alone time with my special fellow- He had even shaved him a bit and that made my husband look so very handsome. I will be forever thankful for that last memory of my sweetheart looking so handsome and peaceful. Thank you Mr. Roper for the special care you have taken of me and my family....
