I recently had my father-in-law's services at Waitt Funeral Home and I must say, they truly went above and beyond to make sure my family and I felt comfortable the whole process. I worked specifically with, Stephanie, and she is truly one of the sweetest people. Losing a loved one is so difficult, but with the support from the staff at Waitt, it was a tad easier. They are very professional and respectful. I recommend using them for your loved one's services. I can not thank them enough for all they have done.

It’s been well over a year since we had my moms service but Lisa and her team are often on my mind all these days later. I spent many hours dreading the moment when I would have to sit in a funeral home and put my mothers body to rest. Lisa was equal parts authentic and empathetic. She made the process so much easier than we anticipated. There was not the cloak of death feeling that you get in other funeral homes. Nor did Lisa treat or speak to us in that way…. You know the one. The way that people treat you after you’ve lost someone who is monumental in your life. They’re almost TOO careful with you? Like you’re a porcelain doll? That wasn’t Lisa. In fact, she somehow made picking out urns and prayer cards an experience that was at times humorous and far from the agony that we had anticipated. I’ve been to wakes and funerals before. And I had obviously assumed that my mothers would be the most difficult of them all to get through. It was a day that I was sure would be traumatic. But I can honestly say that it was the most beautiful, positive and celebratory ending to a life that I’ve ever attended. And there’s no doubt that Lisa and everyone else at Waitt was responsible for that. Instead of leaving a mark of trauma on us, the folks at Waitt made us feel that moms life was truly honored. Not with a sense of sadness and morbidity. But with love and hope and dignity. I’ve meant to send a card a million times to tell you how much our family loved and appreciated the service you gave mom. Thank you so much for the beautiful celebration of her life that you choreographed and your keen and unique sensibilities. Mom would have been as impressed as we were ❤️
