The staff at the Voran Funeral home in Taylor, Michigan are outstanding and wonderful professionals. Because of their kindness & compassion my family had lots of help when my dad passed away, & recently when my mom passed away. We were treated with dignity & respect. Tammy Hall worked hard with my sister Laura Saylor on the phone coming from Washington D.C. She provided support with many difficult details including the task of choosing a casket. When we met with Linda Stratos she was obviously very organized & had many forms almost completed based on info she had when they took care of our dad. She went above and beyond to give us peace & comfort & honor our special requests. Linda handled my mom's transport to another state & dealt with the funeral home in Alabama. The Voran funeral Homes are excellent. I have had two parents pass away, one in 2015 and one just a few weeks ago. I have experienced working with both Eleana (in 2024) and Fred (in 2015). Both Eleana and Fred are absolutely wonderful people and are gracious when dealing with grieving families. They do so with the utmost compassion and empathy. They both are informative with all of the options available, and offer suggestions based on what they learn about your loved one that has passed. When a loved one passes it can be overwhelming trying to meet all the wishes they had for their funeral with other things that they didn’t have a plan for. Voran funeral homes does an excellent job of guiding you through it all, and handle alot of the details for you. One feature that we utilized a few weeks ago to accommodate out of state family that could not make it up to the services due to weather conditions was the online stream. This allows people to view the services from afar if they can’t travel. My family and I are so grateful to the Voran Funeral homes for everything they did to make each of my parents’ final services so wonderful. Great experience under the circumstances. If you or someone you know needs funeral services or planning, I would 100% choose Voran funeral homes. By far the best experience I have had with funeral services.
