Vessey Funeral Services was extremely helpful in handling the cremation of my family member. After doing some research on the cost for a cremation, it was decided to work with Vessey. They picked up the body from another funeral service company at no additional charge. They promptly provided information on their cost, handled paperwork for acquiring death certificates, provided information on potential Medicaid burial benefits, communicated well with me given I was not located in their city, and managed the payment for services quickly. Notification was handled smoothly for picking up the death certificates and urn with the ashes. The service provided by the Vessey staff was exemplary through the whole process. And they were the least costly option. A win-win solution for handling an emotional situation.

When you lose your child, your whole world gets rocked. My sister called several funeral homes here in Fort Collins, and Vessey was undoubtedly the best choice. Teagan is an angel on earth and deserves all the praises (and raises). She made this horrible time the best that it could be and was very responsive to all messages. After my Mom passed away I was given a list of funeral homes by the hospital. The 1st one I called was very short and not comforting. Vessey was the 2nd home I called. It was after hours but received a call back quickly. Summer returned my call. I havent had to arrange a cremation so I wasn't sure what to expect or questions to ask. Summer was very patient etc. My mom was a registered donor so they arranged to pick my Mom up from the hospital and deliver her to Vessey after the donor process was complete. In the meantime, I corresponded with Teagan who was also very pleasant and courteous. She kept me informed of what documents I would be receiving and needed to ve e-signed. I had been in Ft Collins for over a month with my Mom in the hospital. I was anxious to get to my Mom's home to get things taken care of and get back to my home in KC. Teagan began the process of requesting death certificates since I was on a timeline. Teagan let me know when my Mom had been delivered to Vessey. I was informed through the whole process. I was lucky enough to be able to pick my Mom up from Vessey and to meet Teagan in person. Vessey has a quaint little room that is very quiet and comforting to gather thoughts etc. They were wonderful from notification through picking her up. I would highly recommend Teagan, Summer and Vessey Funeral Home.
