My mother and stepfather did prearrangements for their funerals and that is definitely the way to go. Valhalla was efficient and thoughtful In Honoring my mother’s wishes. They picked up her body so quickly from assisted living, which we were so grateful for because it let us move passed that. You don’t think about efficiency necessarily when you think of funeral homes, but it certainly was a helpful characteristic.

Our beloved mother and grandmother was buried in January 2024 and as of today (October 16th, 2024) Valhalla still has not set up her memorial plaque despite arrangements being made and paid for in advance. Her daughter (my mom) has tried repeatedly to have this resolved but has still not received a phone call back. A grieving loved one should not have to go through this.

I would like to think Valhalla funeral home for a nice and respectful funeral/homecoming for my mother. I will highly recommend this place for all your accommodation through this hard time that your family may endure. The staff everything less stressful with their sincere concerns and caring.
