My family and I had been looking for a large size funeral home. After looking at a few we came across Szykowny funeral homes. As soon as we walked in we felt such peace. This place is beautiful and calm. The director, Jonathan is just the most sweetest, most helpful, patient and understanding man. I know it’s his job but he really took the time to go through everything with us and made sure to make our arrangements perfect. We definitely felt more than just his clients and through these difficult times he made everything so smooth and easy. I would say the only negatives were on the actual night of the wake he was not there but had a friend be there. She didn’t seem to know what she was doing. The mic didn’t work and she didn’t know how to fix it. Also, she started cleaning like an hour and a half before our end time. I have a large Hispanic family and they brought lots of food so I guess I can understand why she started thinking we wouldn’t end on time. But I told her my family would clean. She did apologize and stop but it irritated me at the moment. And the last annoying thing was ordering the death certificate afterwards. Erika made a mistake and ordered the wrong one so we had to wait another week. I would definitely say that the pros outweighed the cons. Highly recommend this place.

My passed away last week.. As soon as my brothers and walked in to Szykowny funeral home Johnathan treated us as a family member.. Him and his staff are very professional...My mom looked beautiful the way she was fixed. Thank you to Johnathan and staff @Szykowny Funeral Home.

I recommend this funeral home very much. My father passed away February 2021. Jonathan and staff made everything easy straightforward he accommodated what we wanted he was there from the beginning to the end of the service.. myself and my entire family will be forever grateful.
