After dealing with my very first "major loss," I could not be happier that my Grandmother was placed in Tetrick of Elizabethton's care. All of the staff was beyond kind to my family and I. They have a gift that not everyone has. They know exactly how to talk to and handle those who are grieving. Even though everyone I encountered was amazing (Charlie, Shane, Callista, David, and Vera), one lady in particular went above and beyond her job duties to make me feel loved and cared about. Becky Guy, the administrative assistant allowed me to see my grandmother every day until she was cremated. Not only this, but she knew I was going alone to be with her as she went into the cremator, and she came with me and stood by me during this very tough experience. At the end, she also came to the receiving of friends when she was not even on the clock. Exceptional service at this location. I will be using this location, without a doubt, for the future.

Tetrick Funeral Home recently handled our family member's final arrangements. Our first meeting was with Charlie, who was extremely professional, kind, and helpful, guiding us through all the decisions that needed to be made. They put absolutely no pressure on us to spend more money than we intended. They were prompt, and were able to hold the services on our preferred timeline. Becky went above and beyond when dealing insurance issues. Charlie and Randy did an amazing work during the service and ensured the family was well cared for and everything went smoothly. This company goes above and beyond during your most difficult days and are great at what they do.

I would like to thank Greg and all of the staff at Tetrick Funeral Home for navigating me through the recent passing of my Mother. Greg sent me the forms I needed immediately, made an appointment to meet, took the time to thoroughly discuss details and answer all of my questions. He comforted me when I cried - and we also talked in general about life, death and our general perspectives, because he has the empathy to see that is what I needed in that moment. His perspective gave me a calmness that I needed at that time. Additionally, I was able to talk to someone everytime I called. Compassion is not something that can be bought or taught. I’m so relieved that I selected a place that understands these basic concepts of being human - as well as going above AND beyond in all aspects.
