My father passed on 8/25/2023. I had explicitly told the hospital prior to his passing what his last wishes were to be. They didn’t honor that. Mark was diligent and purposeful in making sure that my father was given the utmost respect in his passing. I told him I love a good bulldog. I met with him on 8/28. It may sound weird to say that I had an enjoyable experience at a funeral home…but I did. He advocated for my father (mess up with proper body pick up due to the hospital and the hospital not filling out death records correctly). I said “what do I need to do to fix this? Any calls I need to make?” Mark looked me right in the eyes and said “That’s my job. I’ll take it from here. And I’m not going to be nice about it.” He wasn’t lying. We rested my father on 9/1/2023 and came home with his remains. Pete was fine that we played Rob Zombie as long as it wasn’t explicit (it wasn’t 🤭 I didn‘t want to break any rules). Pete and staff continued to make sure that the air temperature was okay. Furnished our father’s guests with cold bottles of water. Guided us through the Military Rights process and even helped us load everything in to the car. 10/10. I enjoyed my time at this funeral home. Their compassion is next to nothing. It’s that good. I’ll be a Paris resident for the rest of my life. I hope I’m lucky enough to have Templeton’s handle my last wishes. They are THE BEST!!

We recently experienced the sad and unexpected loss of my Father. Mr. (Pete) Templeton has been so very kind, compassionate and has gone the extra mile in order to make this process as simple as possible for my Mother. Outside of scheduled meetings, he has been readily available to her for direction and guidance and promptly responds to any inquiries she has or has had. Mr. Templeton, thank you so much for the dedication and empathy you've shown when helping my family. Your kindness won't be forgotten.

Mr. Templeton made our tragic experience as easy to experience as possible. We were treated as family. He checked on us regularly, making sure everyone was as comfortable as we could be (given the circumstances). We suffered a great loss and it was comforting to experience this with someone who cares.
