Attended a funeral today for a good friend of my husband's. One kid chose to make a dumb decision and did a burnout in the parking lot and the owner (I think) called the cops and then started going around with the cop asking people if they saw it and if they knew who did it. If that's not enough he was also telling GRIEVING PEOPLE that he would not start the funeral and would not move our friend until they caught the kid who did the burnout. I think he realized his mistake as he tried back pedaling saying he was never going to stop the funeral from starting but the damage was done. You hurt a lot of people today and have them more to worry about on top of their grief and I hope you're proud of yourself.

Pretty bad experience. Some rando, not a part of our services, decided to do a burnout in the parking lot. The funeral home director announced we would not start the service until someone admitted fault. They called the police and after 45 minutes, decided to allow us to proceed. What a way to make a bad day for a grieving family even worse.
