Tricia from Baue was so fantastic in making sure my mother’s funeral was exactly what I envisioned. She was patient with our family. And she also was very accommodating and skilled with altering my mother’s cosmetics to look like the best version of my mom. I’m forever grateful for being able to see my mom one last time not looking sickly and more like the mom I loved.

Absolutely cold, uncaring, and will push unneeded and traumatic “services” on grieving elderly people. Despite sitting with my dad as he died, Baue insisted we had to “dress him up” in a suit and come in to “identify” him before they would cremate him. It was horrific as he looked nothing like he had when he died. He had tons of makeup on, and was laying in a cardboard box. A box. We didn’t want to pay for a casket just to cremate him - but for gods sake, they could have covered up the cardboard. My poor mother was so traumatized by this. I later found out this was unnecessary, it was just a way for them to bank more $$. My family has been in St Charles for hundreds of years and my dad only wanted Baue to handle him. I find them absolutely horrific and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone, for any reason.

My grandma had her funeral services at Baue and the staff was very comforting during an emotionally difficult time. Everyone took such great care of our family. The services included many of grandma’s quilts and other special personal items and it was very heartwarming. Special thanks to Dena for going the extra mile.
