This place is a living nightmare! Gladys had no compassion or empathy within herself. Perhaps it's time to retire when you no longer have it in your heart to do what you once loved. Upon going into this hell of a place we were greeted with unwelcoming vibes. She never once looked at us or said her condolences. I introduced myself to her and the others at the table and she simply said, "oh you are the sister". Unsure and uneasy of her comment we continued. In my head I'm thinking (peace be still). Once the paperwork (money part) was complete. Gladys tapped her paperwork on the desk and said, "well that is that". A few days later the obituary part was needed from the family. It was typed, proofed and sent (copy paste style) via email to Gladys. Somehow there was misspelling, and typos once published. The funeral home didn't do their part to proof before publishing. It's supposed to be a business, but I guess a money hole is more accurate. The family requested for burial/funeral be set for Sunday. We had to have the funeral on a Saturday and the burial on a Sunday (like I said nightmare). The family asked for closed casket, the night before the funeral we received a phone call about opening the casket (are you seeing the nightmare yet). Such things are sensitive or at least they should be but here in this live nightmare not so much. If you want comfort in your heart this is NOT the place. If you want to be treated with respect this is NOT the place. If you want warm heart feeling with the knowledge your people are taken care of upon your request....THIS IS NOT THE PLACE....RUN....RUN....RUN! The DEVIL resides here.
