I have had the unfortunate experience of needing the services of SR Avery Funeral Home a few times (dating as far back as 2006 and including 2024), and each visit has underscored their commitment to compassion and professionalism during some of life’s most challenging moments. From the very first interaction, the staff (Angela & John most importantly) has consistently displayed a remarkable level of empathy. They understand that losing a loved one is profoundly difficult, and they go above and beyond to ensure that families feel supported. Each time we worked with them, we were treated with kindness, patience, and respect, which made navigating the arrangements a bit easier during such emotional times. The transparency in pricing and services was also commendable. There were no hidden fees or pressure tactics—just honest guidance that helped us make informed decisions. It’s clear they prioritize the well-being of families over profit. In conclusion, my experiences with them have been marked by genuine care and professionalism. While no one wants to be in the position of needing funeral services, I feel grateful to have a compassionate team to rely on during such difficult times. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone in need of funeral services; they truly make a difference when it matters most. Side Note - this past experience they even had to work with me from out of state (Texas) and still made everything seamless.

Angela is very professional and knows her job well. Recently lost my brother and she made us very comfortable. She knew exactly what to do. She’s polite, sincere, and very personable. I highly recommend!
