Krissy was our funeral director but they have a team attitude, where as if Krissy is away or busy Ashley Smith and Geri Lynn Davenport stepped right in to help me. Planning my Aunts funeral with Krissy was a painless smooth process. She could see me about to get teary eyed and stopped to console me. She has to be an angel from God because she is so empathetic, and kind. She knew what I needed before I even asked. I have worked with 2 other funeral homes in the past few years and their first thought was how are you paying before we get started. Krissy never asked this before doing all the planning and she layed out everything on a large computer monitor of the prices and I knew what I owed before I left. They did such as amazing job that my husband and I have decided to use Smith Family funeral home in Benton instead of the one we had talked about for years and is closer to our cemetary plots. I would drive 500 miles to go to this funeral home knowing how well my family will be treated and the wonderful staff they employ. Smith funeral home holds to a high moral compass. I am so blessed God guided me to choose this funeral home with the care of my beloved Great Aunt Sherry.

I met Ashley Smith Sept 11, 2024. The day my father passed. She was so professional and had a caring attitude. I can tell she wasn't there for the check. She truly care about my dad and family. She was so informative in every aspect of preparation! I was so impressed with the amount of aftercare she helped my mother with. The day of my dads funeral I met Adam Smith and Krissy! These 3 done such a great job. My dad had a beautiful funeral thanks to Ashley, Adam and Krissy! Everything we wanted was done. There were some flowers that wasn't there. I mentioned this to Ashley and she had them there within 20 min. My dad was a veteran and they made sure he was recognized at the church and the cemetery! My mom, my brothers (Hook and Head) and I (Bird) were all so very pleased. Ashley will understand the nicknames. Thank you Ashley, Adam, Krissy and Smith Funeral home for making a very hard day a little easier! My dad was treated like the king he was!! ❤️🤍💙

We could not have asked for a better experience than we had at Smith Family Benton. Chrissy and the other staff were so kind and helpful. They answered all questions we had and went far beyond what was expected of them. We especially appreciated the fact that they genuinely cared about the needs of our family and held us up in prayer during our time of loss. They also provided aftercare that helped us to know what steps we needed to complete paperwork and helped us know who we should notify and how to do it. I would highly recommend them
