My son passed away in Oct of 2023,i was at a true loss! I was referred to the Shrine of Remembrance from a very caring neighbor in the industry. I could not have asked for more empathy, acknowledgement, capability, grace and care for myself, family members and most of all my son!!! I want to give a 5/5 star review for the Shrine of Remembrance. I have had the honor of working at the Shrine of Remembrance for almost three years, and let me tell you... These folks are the best of the best! I have worked in Michigan, Illinois, & Colorado. Let me tell you these are the BEST folks in Colorado Springs to serve your family. From prestigious gardens, to an out of this world beautiful chapel (the biggest funeral home chapel in Colorado Springs), there is no place like the Shrine to honor your loved one. I also would like to mention the ownership Costas, Demeteri, & Dino. This is one of the LAST family funeral homes in Colorado Springs, and the way they care for their business & staff is unlike anything I have ever seen in any other company I have worked for. These folks bend over backwards for every single client to ensure that every families needs are met, as every family is unique in our industry. One last note about the staff at the Shrine of Remembrance... The administrative assistants upstairs are THE BEST OF THE BEST. Rarely, is there ever a mistake made. These ladies are on top of it and make it their business to make sure every family feels heard. Lastly, the care staff is INCREDIBLE. The Shrine has the most Senior care personnel in the Springs, Karla. Karla treats every person that comes through the funeral home as if they were her own family. I can absolutely 100% assure you that if you trust the Shrine of Remembrance to take care of your loved one, you and your family you will NOT be disappointed. You will be taken care of from beginning to end. Another thing that I would like to mention is the one of a kind opportunity to have your loved one laid to rest in the Shrine of Remembrances scattering gardens, niches, & crypts. If you are looking for a place to lay your loved one to rest whether they may be cremated, or "buried" make sure to take a look at the affordable options the Shrine has to offer. This is a family business that cares about your needs and your comfort. I did pre-planning and it was so easy. Matthew answered all my questions and made it simple. I highly recommend Shrine of Remembrance to anyone looking for anything this place offers. Beautiful grounds, caring, honest wonderful, people.
