Mr. Shikany was a big help for me losing my husband after a brief illness. He and his team were professional and available for any questions that I had. They were very compassionate and accommodating for all my needs. I am a geriatric nurse and would call Mr. Shikany when one of my residents would pass and he has shown dedication and kindness for my 22 years at the Assisted Living I was managing.

Shikany’s of Bonita Springs, Florida is a wonderful funeral home. In December 2009 my mother passed away at Joanne’s House at Hope Hospice in Bonita Springs; and then, Shikany’s cared for her upon her death. Then, almost to the day, fourteen years later in December 2023, my father entered Joanne’s House at Hope Hospice. He passed on the first of the New Year; and again, Shikany’s cared for our loved one upon his death. It is not easy losing a parent. Yet, the staff at Shikany’s put my family at ease coordinating with Joanne’s House and then providing compassionate care to my mother and then my father as they found eternal peace. Our dad suddenly passed away on 5/5/22. Craig was at my dad's house within 30 minutes of calling the funeral home to remove him. Craig made the whole cremation process easy as can be. We purchased the absolute perfect urns and necklaces for ashes at very responsible prices. He added my dad's name and dates on the urn as a special touch. I can not tell you how horrible my dad's passing has been on our family but Shikany's went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled with care and excellence. The reason I knew to call Shikany's was because my uncle passed away a few years ago and my mom used them for his cremation. She ranted and raved about how amazing they were.
