Wonderful place start to finish. I worked with Sean Gallagher who was helpful, informative and supportive throughout the entire process. I called at 4 PM and was able to set an appointment for the next day in the morning. He was flexible in meeting with me as we’re still going through the hospice process. He informed me of all of my options while not pushing any services or upgrades like many other local providers. He explained what happens post death, what we should expect as a family and gave advice on questions to ask as we consider alternative options. He and Nancy were courteous, professional, knowledgeable and warm. I recommend Sean and Hodges highly. They made a very convoluted and tough process very simple and easy to navigate. Sean and Hodges lead with compassion and clarity. We’re thankful we looked outside the recommended options from hospice as Hodges was more affordable and provided top-notch service. Facility is clean and inviting and all staff were friendly and offered help, water, coffee and kind words.

At a vulnerable and disorienting time, the Hodges staff went the extra mile to help me. I needed to pick a plot without being able to visit, and the staff worked with me, using FaceTime to show me the options and to get me acquainted with the cemetery's layout. We got an excellent plot. and, on the day of the service Hodges did an outstanding job of making a hard day go smoothly and with the dignity required. Hodges is well run and trustworthy.

This is a delightful property at the corner of Vanderbilt Drive and Vanderbilt Beach Road. It is mostly well taken care of, with a variety of gravesite location types within the property. Some of the newer crypts including sunset beach and garden are terrific. A wonderful final resting spot and a highly coveted location just down from Vanderbilt Beach. The detail description is incorrect about 24 hour access, it is open from sunrise to sunset.
