Schimunek Funeral Home was exceptional at the Bel Air location. Director Jewel made sure we felt comfortable and answered all questions, even asking questions that didn't come to mind. Not once did we feel pushed to make a decision quickly and everything worked out well and the services were amazing. My family is very pleased with the Services.

So grateful for the kindness and compassion of the staff at Schimunek in Bel Air. Once our plans were made and everything was set into motion, we did not have to lift a finger. From the care taken with our mom, to the representations of her hobbies, the picture slide show, the crudite/desserts and coffee/water everything was top notch. I would highly recommend placing your loved one in their care.

At a very difficult time, it's tremendously reassuring to have a competent staff of professionals. That is what we experienced at Schimunek, led by Jewel T. Everything was explained thoroughly, which was important as information was being shared with out-of-state family. The visitation, funeral, and internment were flawlessly executed. The staff were there when / if needed, otherwise, they faded into the background. There was nothing for which we needed to follow-up to ensure was performed. The needs of the family were anticipated and addressed even before realizing such a need exists. Most importantly, we felt they honored our father which is priceless.
