From start to finish, their attention to detail and the level of personal care shown to both our family and my uncle was nothing short of extraordinary. The evening we called to notify them of my uncle’s passing, they immediately made us feel as though we were their top priority. Throughout the entire process, Romaine and Ezra Gibbs ensured that every step was handled with care and professionalism. They prepared my uncle’s body beautifully—he even had a peaceful smile on his face, which brought us such comfort. Whether it was the private viewing before the ceremony, their coordination of the funeral, or the drive to the burial site, everything was seamless. They truly made a difficult and emotional time as pleasant as it could possibly be. I can’t thank them enough for the compassion and expertise they provided to our family. We retained R. S. Gibbs Life Celebration Funeral Home for my mother’s graveside service and we were not disappointed. Ms. Maxine and Mr. Gibbs were patient, attentive, and caring which made this process a lot easier than expected. The obituaries and announcement cards brought everyone joy as we viewed the life of our loved one in such vibrant and radiant colors. Thank you all so much for making this sad occasion beautiful. I find this place to b very unprofessional I’ve waited for a response for over a week when I ask to view my father I was told I had to wait to see him. With the family . The same family who planned the entire thing without me n brought my dad there simply because she is “ best friends “ with the director. My feelings from both my family and this place wasn’t care for . Announcements was already done this place told me they were still setting it up they didn’t know when it was going to be done and it was already set up. I would never bring my loved one here . My sister says money to keep the rest for personal use. To finish I never got a call as I placed a number for where they could call and nothing I received a text after my uncle called to see what was going on. I didn’t have response for days and the number I listed no one called but this place “ does quick response “ my dads funeral arrangements already done and I was told a time had to be scheduled as I stated I do not want to be around some of the family I want to see my dad alone and have that right too and no attempt call me back when I wanted to know whether my father was there when in fact he was …was ever made you and your staff seen some of the family not all and because they are they ones u seen that everyone else feelings including mines were disregarded. If all family is CONSIDERED family than all family request should b honoured! Not just some . I texted almost everyday and no one got back to me or called the number I listed and being tho you have an iPhone it was no excuse not to contact me the moment I texted if I missed a call I TOO WAS WORKING! and the day I called someone should have called back. I never chose you or would have it was all the director friend doing!
