I wanted to give a great kudos to Jessica. She was super compassionate and helpful in helping me and my fiancé with the lost of our newborn son. I can’t thank her enough for her kindness and wanted to personally express my gratitude. I know your job is not the easiest but your empathy and care for your clients is much appreciated.

After a 3 year battle with cancer, my dear mom passed recently. Knowing mom's last few days with us had arrived, we reached out to Resthaven to get a sense of cost and expectations for mom's post-care. David answered my wife's initial call and was extremely patient and knowledgeable. He made it clear that we could call anytime, 24-7, when the time came and they would be there for us. I had to make that call very early on a Sunday morning and David took the call. Very respectful and compassionate and he immediately mobilized Resthaven's post-care transport. A gentleman named Jeff arrived soon thereafter and he was very humble, gracious and extremely respectful of our grief and my mom's body. We felt at peace knowing we were releasing my mom into their care. Prior to and following her cremation, our experience with David and the rest of Resthaven's team was fantastic. Not having been through this experience before, they we're very thoughtful in making sure that we understood all the options and services available to us but were never aggressively trying to upsell or influence our decisions. They were very patient and very accommodating with our timeline. Myself and family would highly recommend Resthaven and the good, caring people who help families in their time of grief and need. If I could give zero stars for Resthaven Funeral home I would. We had an appointment to have a visit to set up arrangements. My father is in the hospital currently and coming home with Hospice tommorrow. My mother has had 3 appointnents for a visit. She has to leave the hospital each time when she is needed to be there to meet with the Resthaven worker and they have been no call no show each time. Today was a 6pm visit and there was no answer each time we tried to get in contact. You would think that a place like Resthaven would be the place where you have support during a time like this. Your family is already under stress during this time and this adds to it when it is uneeded. I hope that someone reads this and it can make a difference somewhere and it doesnt happen to anyone else.
