Employees seem a bit on edge Today while walking my dogs in cheviot, in front of Rebold now Spring Grove funeral home,I was taken by surprise. I walk my two dogs daily , one is an older lady and one is an excited puppy. After turning the corner to walk toward Rebold on Glenmore I saw that there was a man gathering his recycle bin in front of Rebold/Spring Grove. I waited as my pup gets really excited about people. He saw us, bent down and started pulling weeds from between the sidewalk cracks. I continued to wait for a sec and decided to approach and walk upon the hill of grass near him to prevent my pup from jumping. As I stepped onto the grassy hill I slipped as the grass was wet and fell, this startled everyone and I apologized to the man who had quickly grabbed the recycle bin and placed it in front of him from being startled by my dogs. I stood up and my puppy started pulling as she does and the man yelled “get back” and reached for a holster on his hip. I understand that dogs can be scary but I had control of her the entire time. It feels extreme and terrifying that a gun was potentially going to be pulled on us. I understand that dogs make people jumpy, but I can not understand why a man would feel the need to pull a gun on a puppy who was not near them or a threat. All of this to say, stay safe out there when walking by Rebold funeral home in Cheviot.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Mark and Ashley were so compassionate, patient, and professional. Highly recommend their services.

The owner Mark Ivey went above and beyond for me when my mother passed. He treated my mother with exceptional respect and decency and I can never thank him enough for the generosity of his time and professionalism when dealing with a trying situation. I have nothing but respect for this man and his wonderful staff !!! Thank you so much !!!!
