After 2 long months in the ICU, my father passed away. We're from Montana, and needed to get him home for services. I called Ranfranz at about 4pm on a Saturday, & explained our situation (we wanted to get home ASAP) Jo Hedquist was kind enough to offer to meet us the following morning at 9 am, and mentioned we should be able to have cremation take place by Tuesday/Wednesday. Others we had called mentioned 5 days or more. The following morning we arrived at Ranfranz to meet Jo and finalize paperwork. He was compassionate and kind throughout our entire time there. In addition, upon or arrival he mentioned cremation could actually take place later that day (Sunday) and we could pick up Dad's remains at 8am Monday morning. After 2 months in Rochester... this was news we were glad to hear. Jo's kindness extended to him offering a few suggestions on how to acquire items we would need for the services back home. In the midst of grief, his kindness and honesty was greatly appreciated. My family and I have no reservations in recommending Ranfranz and Vine. They helped make a difficult situation, feel less daunting, and helped facilitate our quick return home.

Ranfranz & Vine Funeral Homes made a very difficult process more bearable for me. They were thorough, clear, kind and patient. Jeff Cink was amazingly wonderful and supportive. I cannot say thank you enough. I will never forget your help.

Ben came to provide transport for my mother after she died at in-home hospice in my home and was very professional and compassionate. They truly take pride in what they do and are very supportive for the family during these difficult times.
