My experience was nothing less than perfect. Ashley and her staff held my hand from the beginning to the end. I was lost and in sorrow and they gave me peace and comfort. Once my 91 year old mother was accepted into Hospice care August 2023, I knew her homecoming would be very painful and not far. Once she passed away I wanted to process the pain of her passing without any concerns about her burial and the lord granted me that wish through Schaefer Funeral Home. I planned her leaving early on with Schaefer and the staff of Greenwood Cemetary. On April 8, 2024 all I did with the family was experience several different emotions as we said until another day to our Queen. We did not have any other concerns. They took care of everything with great care and passion. Because of their emotional and genuine interest in the process we actual left her at Greenwood Cemetary knowing that she was in the right place with Schaefer staff. Thank you I am celebrating her peace, because of them. Could not ask for a better Homecoming, she was even smiling.
