I don’t know what the home was like in the past, but the service provided by November 2023 was unforgivable. Everything was great until the memorial service ended… then came the time to get the cremains. The body was supposed to be cremated the next day… but wasn’t, until 3 weeks later. In the meantime, about a dozen inquiries, both in person and over the phone were answered with lies, or no response at all. We were told “the crematory hasn’t sent them”, “they are downstairs”, “they were mistakenly sent to our Mt. Vernon location… I will have them delivered to you tomorrow”. This whole process went on for 3 months! We didn’t receive them until mid February! I would NEVER use or recommend this service again!

Legall Funeral is the uttermost professional and understanding in your time of need. Steven came to the nursing home for my mom's body, followed up on all information that I needed to do. The funeral home is beautiful and serene, I definitely felt at ease after dealing with Legall Funeral Home.
