My mother died recently, and my sister and I picked Powers Funeral Home because it was both convenient and familiar. (They did my father's funeral many years ago after he passed.) The location is excellent and the personnel are professional, above and beyond. While we were going over my mother's details, we were offered fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies which smelled divine. A few days ago when I picked up my mother's cremains, the room she was in looked so inviting that I thought it was a shame to have to take her out of it. We ended up spending somewhat more money than (for one) strictly would have liked, but I can't say it wasn't worth it. So, yes, I would recommend them.

Vanessa, Kali and Molly and rest of team, thank you for all your help for our Dad’s service. We ran into some issues during planning but in the end it was perfect. We used their reception room for food as well and was great! Loved that the projector screen was in the front of the room and it was all set up for us. Parking was great too, a lot of parking. The only thing that I would say is knowing that viewing is in a separate room will be helpful, maybe having the rooms shown to clients at time of meeting to go over everything, as this was new to me and room was smaller so luckily Vanessa was able to get us in the chapel for viewing for extra cost last minute. Thank you again!

Powers Funeral home was so Amazing when my mother passed away. From the initial phone call to the front desk to the funeral director. A very emotional and difficult time they went above and beyond any expectations my family and I could of expected. We choose a beautiful urn of a sunset. When we picked her up they treated her with respect and dignity. They set her up for us in the parlor and gave us as long as we wanted to be with her in her urn. They then placed her in a beautiful velvet bag for us to carry her home. Thank you Powers Funeral Home Puyallup, WA. for being so kind, compassionate and caring.
