I just wrote the email below to friends in need of their services. Here is information about the Plaze Funeral Home. They are fantastic in our community. It is fantastic because it is owned by the New York Jewish Community, is not for profit, and is amazing when people need them. I am personally, and unfortunately, very familiar with what they do. Their compassion for me when I needed them was beyond belief.

When you are in the depths of your mourning and grief when your life partner, your husband, of over 37 1/2 years, dies, there is no better care and comfort than from Gregory Katz at Plaza Jewish Community Chapel. Understanding, caring, and embracing of your difficult time, his handling of every detail was extraordinary. I always felt emotionally cradled by their great staff and completely pleased with the planning of all of the traditional Jewish rituals. The gravesite at Ceder Park Cemetery was a beautiful and meaningful burial. I am so very grateful for all of the caring attention from this incredible gift to the Jewish Community.

Both of my parents' services were at Plaza Jewish. Eddie and the team were the best that I could have asked for. Caring, understanding, & Rabbi Potasnik was truly remarkable! A seamless transition for me and my family. Best wishes to all at Plaza Jewish!
