The staff member, Rachel, was not only unprofessional but also unhelpful during a time when compassion and assistance were most needed. The lack of support and poor communication compounded an already difficult situation. I spoke with one of the managers and he was very rude as well. With Rachel being such a large woman I understand why she is always frustrated and have a hard time going up and down the stairs. It's essential that a funeral home provides a caring and professional service, which was not the case here. They canceled my father funeral two day before the service. The excuse was that someone called to cancel but could not tell me who called. They definitely did not speak to my mother nor myself to cancel the service. We found a better funeral home that provided great service. I know they don’t care about the review but I will be contacting the board and reporting them. I hope this feedback can serve as a means for Unity Funeral Home to improve their services for others in the future."

My passing two weeks ago was heartbreaking to my family 😢. But we push and went to Unity Funeral Chapel In Harlem and received thee best services for my mother. Dual Naughton was very professional, respectful and super thorough in regards to pricing . I was very concerned about how my mother would look because she was naturally beautiful with little to no make-up and my siblings wanted to keep it that way. When I say Mr. Naughton listen to what my siblings had to say, that man listeb because my mother was simply beautiful 🥰 . I want to thank Unity for sending my mother off the right way and providing the family with the comfort that was so needed in our time of grief
