This was my first experience with the process of losing a loved one. Had no clue how pricing or anything goes. The lady who explained the administrative stuff was professional, had no issues with her. The lady in the front office can be rude. I've heard this from a few different people. Ma'am please remember this is a painful time for for families coming in. My main issue has to do with me requesting to see my mom before cremation. They granted my request and informed me to go downstairs. I walk down the stairs and there is my mom, in the main hallway right by the restroom. I thought myself why wasn't she in a private room for my final goodbye? ANYONE could've came downstairs and see me with my mom. ANYONE could've came downstairs to use the restroom. For a longstanding professional funeral home this was and still is very odd. She was covered in a blanket yes. So i requested to see her face to kiss her one last time which I did. My mom was killed and all I wanted was to see her one last time so i didnt create scene. I hate to give a negative review but I'll remember this experience for the rest of my life My dad died a few months later. I used a different funeral home.

Please NEVER utilize this place for your family member. I went against my first mind and chose this place for my brother and I wish I hadn't. For a $4500 service an urn should be included and there should be more than two caskets to choose from for the service. The chaplain found out my brother was Muslim and he and his coworkers mocked and made fun of it. They interrupted the service then was rude. When I called for the second viewing of my brother these people were somewhere eating chicken so we were just sitting there waiting. When they finally decided to conduct the second viewing(after my nephew snapped out on them) they tried to rush us through the viewing being rude and disrespectful the entire time. Once the viewing was over, the chaplain then decided to arrogantly pray a benedictory prayer after knowing there were no Christian type activities listed in my brother's obit. It doesn't stop there. We had to contact them to ask about my brother's remains and the lady in front never knows anything, never returns calls, and should never answer the phone. These people cremated my brother in a monogrammed suit with his name on it and never asked us if we wanted it back after the service. Please DO NOT utilize this place. If you feel they have good service, please believe me when I say they do not. This was my third loved one I've had to do arrangements for and this was the WORST experience I have ever had. This is a zero star rating

Pitts Mortuary did a outstanding job with our mother's funeral. Pitts not only serviced our mother's funeral they also did our brother's funeral. I appreciate their professionalism and their ability to meet the needs of the most difficult family members. I would recommend their services to anyone that is in need of funeral services with a amazing staff that has a heart for people.
