Working with the staff at Penwell Gable was a wonderful experience. The director (Sean Meyer) was professional, knowledgeable, attentive, caring and went out of his way for us. The day of the funeral, all three men at the chapel were very caring to all the family. Everything happened better than I expected. If you need a professional funeral home to help you with all the details and still show the warmth and caring needed at the time of the death of a loved one, this is the funeral home to choose. Recently my father died out of state in Texas; he deeply desired to be buried next to his wife in our hometown of Topeka, Kansas. Fulfilling my father's wishes required working with Sean on an endless number of details via many emails and in person once I arrived in Topeka. Sean was committed to assuring my plans were set in place and carried out in a flawless manner. It was very important to me that I honor my father in the best way I could.
