When my father had passed away, we chose Peers Lorentzen as our funeral home, as our family had used this business for many years. Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience from Day 1. Without going into all the detail, we received little to no support from the staff at Peers Lorentzen, and the staff members did not offer any understanding of the pain and grief our family was suffering. Our family had suddenly lost my father and, not having planned a service before, we had many questions. The office staff was visibly annoyed with questions we asked or concerns we raised. We did not receive any assistance from the stand-in director, even when the office staff was unable to respond to our questions. The staff did not discuss basic things such as floral arrangements for the service, and did not offer us various other options in connection with the service. During the service, the staff was unprofessional and amateur. We had provided a video, photos and music to show during the service, yet these were not ready to play at the appropriate time, and when they were finally ready to be played, the staff started from the middle of the photo display rather than the start. Rather than fix the issue, they played from the middle to the end, then went back to the start. Finally, and significantly, my father was prior military and we were never presented with a flag, despite having previously discussed that with the funeral home. When we attempted to meet to discuss the issues, we were met with the same unprofessional conduct that had been displayed throughout our experience. No satisfactory explanation was offered and no apology was offered until I asked for an apology. We are very disappointed at the service provided by Peers Lorentzen during and stressful and emotional time for our family.

Richard is a class act. Very professional from the beginning to the end, we never felt pressured. All funeral homes should be ran like Peers Lorentzen.

This funeral home was highly recommended to us by the Care Center our father was residing in. Though we hated to think about needing funeral services, we wanted to pre-plan, so we contacted Peers Lorentzen and another funeral home. We chose Peers Lorentzen. They offered the most compassionate and caring services. Their services exceeded our expectations. It was one of the greatest pleasures of my life to be concerned about and to help take care of my ailing father as he resided in the Care Center. To pre-plan and to associate with Peers Lorentzen as we thought about his final arrangements was a blessing. When our father did leave this earth, we were comforted to have the services of Peers Lorentzen to bring him honor and to bring our family comfort.
