Recently, in mid June 2024, my Dad passed away. He was a veteran and as such had certain things needing to be put in place to honor him and his service to his country. I live out of state and it was a quick unexpected passing. I was so worried about how to manage all of the details while traveling and in a terrible state of grief. Thank you to Ryan and the staff at Parker-Millard. They were knowledgeable and willing to help with all of the challenges of my tight schedule and were helpful with the needs I had in managing my crazy, weird, and difficult family in a time of uncertainty. They were instrumental in making a beautiful service happen while integrating the veterans benefits and helping with the military honors my dad deserved. The final salute to my dad was beautiful and meaningful. The help and guidance from Ryan and the staff made the services the easiest part of this difficult situation. Thank you to all for your thoughtfulness, kindness, and guidance. I hope I don't need your service often, but I definitely have a reliable friend in the business I can fall back on. I can't say enough about the staff and services provided. I am truly grateful.

I was not impressed with the customer service we received. The immediate meeting went well and we were well informed about the process of cremation for our father. Once paid, I felt like we had to call and call and call to get something done. I know things happen, but it took 2 weeks just to get the Obituary done, because of "computer issues" or the inability to check emails?? Then trying to get someone to call regarding the death certificate was complicated, without it, the cremation couldn't be completed and I did feel like it took a long time and no reassurance of anything being done about it. It felt as if there were loads of excuses and no calls, unless we called them. I am thankful that we received dad and in good condition. That is what matters.

My sister died almost 2 months ago. Since it was unexpected her family was left with making arrangements. She was in the ICU. We asked a nurse who people in our situation which funeral home was often chosen. Parker-Millard was the name given among a couple others. I can speak for her family that the care given to her body in preparation for her cremation, the empathy as we looked over the selection of urns for her ashes, and the myriad other questions we had were answered with compassion. For all those reasons I have recommended Parker-Millard as the Funeral Home to use at my death. They have recently reached out to me to see how I am. Five stars is most appropriate.
