On July 7, 2024, I visited my late mother’s grave @ 8:30 am. I arrived at her grave to see some of the sorriest perpetual care, probably ever. They placed the stone I purchased for her grave less than a year ago for me to find it with a gaping hole at the head. I was and am seething angry for the disrespect. I, of course, let my finger blaze as this place was closed, so I lit them up with online communication only to get a phone call with lip service from the most excuse-filled gentleman ever. He said he believes they are doing a great job at the cemetery, and it hasn’t looked this good. I was in disbelief at what he was trying to pander to me. There is an entire hole at my mother’s grave, and the weed-filled lawn and edge work are some of the laziest I’ve seen. A Headstone was lying on the ground about 10 feet, and this was before the hurricane, and he was so excuse-filled I’m sure he is now blaming it on the hurricane. I was sick of his excuses; he believed they would just put some dirty, and I would go away. Sir, I’m confident you’re going to read this review. You will re-level and install that stone correctly, ensuring it will not sink again. If we should ever speak, hopefully not, please never meet me with excuses. Remember this: “Excuses are tools of the incompetent, and those who specialize in them are seldom good at anything else!” DO BETTER!

I have been in such shock and disbelief. My mom, who was my best friend, passed away in Jan 2024 and is buried at Paradise North cemetery. We finally got her head stone laid on May 29, 2024. It is beautiful and I went to see it. I had so many mixed emotions. On Sunday, June 16, 2024 while going to visit mom's grave site. We found her flower vase had been broken. Looks like it was run over while the lawn was freshly cut. The beautiful mahogany vase that we knew she would of liked because it was different and she LOVED flowers. I don't understand why no one from Paradise let us know this happened and why they weren't more careful. I am really shocked, upset and disappointed. Not even a month since we got this laid and destroyed already. Now we are going to have to probably go through so much just to get this fixed.😢

My family and I had a great experience with Paradise Funeral Home. They were extremely flexible, accommodating, and helpful. They supported us throughout the whole process. I appreciated not been rushed during the appointment to plan my nephew's funeral. Mr. Clarence Bennett was very professional and patience with us. Ms.Denise Criswell is truly an asset to the company!!! The day when it was time to come to view my nephew's body, Ms.Denise went above and beyond for our family, she showed an act of kindness, compassion, and empathy to our family. She managed to bring peace to our hearts at that time, when it was so very much needed. I felt that our family needs were important to her too. For that, we will always be grateful to her. Thank you Ms.Denise! She maded sure to honor every request that I had, to make my nephew's funeral beautiful on October12,2024. We also like to thank, Ms.Brenda, Ms. Walker, Mr. Warren, and the other team members that made this difficult time a pleasant experience. I will be definitely using Paradise Funeral Home services again.
